Dolphin’s Nose

Gangavaram, Dolphin Hill

Located between Yarada and Gangavam Port. It is a huge rocky head land which is 174 meters high and 358 meters above sea level. A hill that resembles a dolphin’s nose in its shape. There is a lighthouse that guides sailing ships to the port and away from harsh regions of the sea.It was used by the British before the independence of India as a military camp. It is a crucial location because quite a few important wars had been fought in and around the place, such as the war of the British and the French, famously known as the Battle of Visakhapatnam.Timings: 3pm-5pm

Kailasagiri

Hilltop Road

Spread across 100 acres atop a hill, Kailasagiri offers breathtaking panoramic views that nature lovers will cherish. This well-maintained park is a popular destination, where visitors can enjoy a serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings. The park’s centrepiece is a towering 40-foot statue of Shiva and Parvati, which gives Kailasagiri its name, symbolizing the divine abode of these deities. In addition to the statue, Kailasagiri features several other attractions, including the Floral Clock, Titanic Viewpoint, Jungle Trails, Shanthi Ashram, and Shanku Chakra Nama, each adding to the park’s charm and appeal.
