The end is near…

The end is near…

 Not in the apocalyptic sense, but the month of December does give out the ending vibes, like a job well completed.

And yet every end is only a precursor to a new beginning that one can look forward to.

The days turned into weeks which turned into fortnights and months, and just like that, we are in the final round-up of 2025. As always, the year was a mosaic of different colours, variegated patterns, and diverse experiences, events, occurrences.

Locally and globally, individually and communally, one went through the motions of life in all its multifarious manifestations. Every shade held a different story, and every day one learned something.

And so the vehicle of time trudges on, with us as passengers and drivers at the same time.

In the final month, it’s interesting to see how far we have come from the beginning of this year, and how we have fared in the interim.

Just a few more weeks to go, to tie up some loose ends and tidy up our lives a bit, as we prep for the new year to start out on a clean fresh slate, and await the calendar to turn another page.

On that thoughtful note, we wish all our readers a happy festive season as the year wraps up.
