The town would consist of a fort, temples, tanks, and cantonments, with eight access gates and wide roads.<\/p>\n<p>He took the consent of the Vijayanagara Emperor Achyutharaya and constructed the Bangalore Fort and the city in 1537 AD. The settlement spread across present-day Avenue Road, Ulsoor, Yelahanka, K R Market and Malleswaram.\u00a0Subsequently, he moved his base and capital from Yelahanka to his newly founded city, Bengaluru Pete. As the scion of the Morasu Gowda lineage, Kempe Gowda I proved to be an able and just ruler.<\/p>\n<p>Vision, determination and will \u2013 these are the golden ingredients that have gone into the making of many a leader and pioneer.
